Education Ministry The goal of the Education Ministry of Central Baptist Church is to provide a personal encounter with Jesus Christ for all ages. The programs are designed to meet the needs of people and equip them as they face the challenges in life. Here is a sampling of the various education ministries provided at Central Baptist Church. Sunday School - Sunday, 9:30 A.M. Sunday School provides a place for life-changing Bible study, fellowship, ministry, evangelism and preparation for worship. We have classes for every age from infants to senior adults, plus a Special Ministries class. Help! I'm a Sunday School teacher! click here Discipleship Training - Sunday, 6:00 P.M. Discipleship Training is designed to help Christians grow and mature in their relationship with the Lord. Various short-term studies are provided throughout the year for you to participate in. The curriculum addresses the practical needs of Christians living in our culture today. For information on current studies, click here. Missions Organizations - Sunday, 5:00 P.M. We learn about other people groups around the world through our missions organizations. Groups are offered on Sunday evening for three-year-olds through sixth grade . Women on Mission meet each month and sponsor mission awareness activities throughout the year. Children's Bible Drill - Wednesday, 6:30 P.M. Bible Drill is for children in fourth through sixth grades. In Bible Drill, students memorize Scripture, learn the books of the Bible and compete in associational and state events. Bible Drill fosters a love for the Bible and provides a time of fellowship and encouragement for the participants. Child Development Center - Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. The Child Development Center (CDC) is our weekday early education program for two-year-olds through four-year-olds. This ministry seeks to develop each child physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, morally and spiritually through age-appropriate activities and guidance. CDC Students enjoy a visit from "Sparky" the Fire Dog Media Library Our Media Library contains over seventyfive hundred books and over sixteen hundred audiovisual resources. You can find the latest Christian fiction, reference works, periodicals or video resources to help you grow in your relation with God.
